Fair point, but my argument is we can use whatever we want or not and it doesn’t really matter. There is no standards body we need to appeal to in order to get our symbols onto keyboards. If we want to hijack emojis like ⚡️ and 🧡 we can, but it doesn’t have to be done by decree.

Yes. I at least understand that.
But... Like... I don't need to archive my notes (yet) and I just chat on simplex mostly because DMs on Nostr are so flacidly cucked by the big dev boneheads that I don't see it being useful until newer devs figure out communities or group chats to be reliable enough to be actually useful. (I'm not a fan of most current implementations as they just don't work.)
