To improve the UX a bit for #cashu wallets, mints might need to bear the fee cost when transfering ecash to a lightning wallet. Figuring out what the fees should be in the current state is just confusing and requires trial and error using wallet like cashu.me for example. For the conversion of lightning to ecash, the mints can charge whatever fee they want.
Or alternatively, wallets would just need to do better by displaying the fee info.
audit.8333.space could play a similar role as mempool.space by providing an API to verify a mint status. This service is really crucial to improve the UX and reliability of ecash across different mints
Would be great if it was open source so that more ecash wallet providers can self-host to improve reliability of ecash wallets
Seems lightning-esqe probing would become a thing for mints in order to ensure reliability and avoiding dead mints.

Seems like a decent tradeoff.
The only thing I would suggest is the ability of users to open an external wallet on zap IF they go full retard like me later on. Like how Amethyst will open Zeus when I zap someone. But I'm not an Apple user, so my UX preferences may not work or make sense in that environment.

(Down to the millisecond!) Women do not ask a man to be a man, they attempt to verify it.
